Plot

Tommy Shea, a determined fighter from Jersey City with humble beginnings, captures the attention of affluent businessman Robert Mallinson, who offers him training at his luxurious Long Island estate. As Tommy grows closer to Mallinson's daughter, Dorothy, he worries about his financial ability to provide for her. Desperate for money, he partners with unscrupulous fight promoter Harry Cram, abandoning his loyal manager, Dave Bernstein.
