Plot

Jack Cooper’s dreams of becoming a top-tier baseball pitcher seem to crumble under pressure. After being traded to a minor league team, his hopes plummet when he learns that Ed, a chimpanzee, is his new teammate. Once the team mascot, Ed has been given a shot at third base due to his surprising baseball prowess. As Jack navigates the challenges of his new environment, he finds unexpected encouragement from Ed, who helps him rediscover his confidence both in the game and in life.
