Tisza: Autumn Sketches (1963)

Plot

As autumn approaches, a picturesque riverside village comes alive with activity. Villagers work together to reinforce the riverbank with stone blocks, while others engage in fishing, ploughing, or repairing boats. A small steamboat glides by, its stoker busy shoveling coal. In the distance, a town appears, and a rowing team diligently trains for upcoming competitions. Biologists observe water microbes through microscopes, and workers paint a new barge before launching it into the river. A young boy, captivated by a racing boat, abandons his sandcastle to chase after it along the shore.
