Plot

In the 2001 film "Black River," Jay Mohr plays Bo Aikens, a weary Hollywood screenwriter seeking solace from the hectic life of Los Angeles. He journeys to the picturesque town of Black River, Northern California, hoping to find peace and inspiration. However, his initial warm welcome quickly turns sinister as strange occurrences unfold. Bo discovers that his funds have inexplicably moved to a local bank, and a house has been purchased in his name without his approval. As the town's charming exterior begins to crumble, Bo is forced to face the hidden darkness that resides within Black River.
