Plot
Nineteen-year-old Danny Flynn finds himself behind bars due to his ties with the I.R.A. in Belfast, leaving his family and teenage girlfriend, Maggie Hamill, behind. After fourteen long years, he is finally released and returns to his working-class roots, determined to reclaim his life in the boxing ring.
