Plot
After the Bay of Pigs invasion, Sergio decides to remain in Cuba while his wife and family flee to Miami. Isolated in a rapidly changing society, he navigates the looming dangers of foreign interference while pursuing fleeting romances throughout Havana. His obsession grows when he meets Elena, a young woman he attempts to shape into a reflection of his former wife. As he tries to recapture his past, he grapples with the consequences of his actions and the impact on his own identity.
