Life at Iran’s second-largest zoo takes an unexpected turn when Mohsen, the head keeper, brings Maya, his four-year-old Bengal tiger, to star in a film near the Caspian Sea, once home to the extinct Caspian tiger. During the shoot, Mohsen releases Maya into the wild, marking her as the first free tiger in Iran in over 60 years. However, this venture spirals into chaos, unraveling the bond between Mohsen and Maya while exposing the troubling realities of their lives at the zoo, ultimately revealing darker truths about the animals' captivity and Mohsen’s true nature.
