Plot
A gripping tale unfolds through the lens of several key characters. Andrei (Radescu) struggles with conflicts among his peers, while Colonel Maxineanu (Stanculescu) leads the military school. Meanwhile, Adrian (Mavrodineanu), a young villager, looks up to the cadets' bravery. Tensions escalate as Hungarian forces launch relentless assaults against the Romanians. Despite being outnumbered and outgunned, the Romanian troops hold their ground. Just when the situation seems dire with a final Hungarian push, reinforcements from the Soviet and Romanian armies arrive, turning the tide of battle and driving the invaders back.
