Plot
Pearl, a Jewish widow grappling with her husband's funeral, finds herself face-to-face with an old Italian friend of her late spouse. This man had once offered her husband pivotal advice that kept him from abandoning their family. Throughout the years, he harbored unexpressed feelings for Pearl, now a widower himself. As Pearl navigates her complex relationship with her two estranged and combative daughters, the unexpected reunion stirs up unresolved emotions and challenges them all to confront their pasts and the possibilities of new beginnings.
