Arturo O'Farrill, the renowned maestro and founder of the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, journeys to Veracruz, Mexico, to connect with the keepers of the rich son jarocho tradition, a folk music style that spans 300 years. He takes part in the “Fandango Fronterizo,” a unique music festival occurring simultaneously on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. Through this celebration, the wall, often seen as a symbol of division, becomes a bridge that fosters unity, highlighting the power of music to transcend boundaries and bring people together.
