Plot
Tal finds himself in dire straits after his father is murdered during his time in Montana, with authorities wrongly pinning the crime on him. Additionally, he faces a decade of hard labor for a murder he didn’t commit, as criminals manipulate the legal system to exploit innocent men for cheap labor on a dam project. Despite the odds, Karan is convinced that Tal, under the alias Smith J. Brown, is innocent. Unbeknownst to her, her stepbrother, Hub, is entangled in the very gang perpetrating this injustice.
