Enishi: The Bride of Izumo (2016)

Plot

Maki Iizuka, an editor at a Tokyo wedding magazine, is preparing to marry Kazunori Nakamura when tragedy strikes with her grandmother's passing. Like a mother to her, the loss compels Maki to sift through her grandmother's belongings. Among them is an empress tree box containing a stunning white bridal kimono and partially filled marriage registration forms, featuring the name "Soichi Akiguni." Intrigued by this mystery, Maki travels to her hometown of Izumo in Shimane Prefecture, where she encounters a charming young fisherman, leading her on a journey of discovery and self-reflection.
