Plot
At a secluded trading post in Brazil, a mix of disillusioned expatriates resides, including Jerry Russell, a former engineer whose obsession with the legendary Jivaro treasure has led him to abandon his career for a life of drinking and romance with local beauty Maroa. Despite receiving letters from his fiancée back in California, Jerry’s world is shaken when the glamorous Alice Parker arrives, seeking a wealthy suitor. Just as she contemplates a relationship with Rio, news breaks that Jerry has vanished in the perilous Jivaro territory, complicating everyone's lives.
