In this modern retelling of Shakespeare's "Henry IV," Mike Waters, a narcoleptic street hustler, teams up with Scott Favor, the defiant son of a city mayor. Their journey takes them from Portland, Oregon, through Idaho, and ultimately to the shores of Italy as they search for Mike's long-lost mother. Throughout their travels, they engage in sex work to support themselves, drawing the interest of a wealthy and morally ambiguous patron who complicates their lives even further.
