Plot
Paul Robaix, a renowned director, chooses not to cast his comedienne wife, Lucy Dell, in his adaptation of Madame Butterfly. Determined to prove herself, Lucy travels to Tokyo, disguising herself as a geisha to secure the role. As she navigates the film set, Lucy encounters various obstacles, including a lecherous co-star and her husband, who starts to suspect that his new leading lady bears an uncanny resemblance to Lucy. Balancing her dual identity proves increasingly complicated as the production unfolds, leading to humorous and heartfelt moments.
