Plot

Franklin Shepard, a gifted composer on Broadway, decides to leave his theater roots and his close-knit circle of friends in New York to pursue a career in film in Los Angeles. The narrative unfolds during the peak of his success in Hollywood, gradually revealing pivotal moments from his past that have defined him.
