Plot
Seth Dhanpath Rai (Sanjeev Kumar) is a formidable smuggler, reigning over his empire of wealth and influence. However, chaos ensues when his daughter Sonia (Poonam Dhillon) falls for Ravi Malhotra (Shashi Kapoor), a police officer she wishes to marry. Meanwhile, Dhanpath Rai discovers that his son Vicky (Randhir Kapoor) is also straying from his father's path, as he is engaged to a beautiful but impoverished girl (Swaroop Sampat). This forces Dhanpath Rai to confront a troubling dilemma: should he prioritize his children's happiness or his own pursuit of power and riches? In the end, he learns the true meaning of wealth.
