Plot

Young 'Sparke' Thorton finds himself in a new home with his Uncle and Aunt Bolt in Indiana after the passing of Aunt Henrietta. Initially resistant to his new life, Sparke's passion for horses, especially a spirited filly he wants to race, helps him adjust. As he navigates this unfamiliar environment, he also discovers a budding romance with the adventurous 'Char' Bruce, who shares his enthusiasm for equines. Together, they forge a bond that makes his summer in Indiana a memorable adventure filled with challenges and newfound connections.
