Plot
Natalie Holland, a Portland book editor, finds herself stuck in a rut, having once again chosen an underwhelming partner. Seeking a fresh start, she relocates to Los Angeles after accepting a job from her friend, publisher Avery Goldstein. However, the transition proves challenging for the principled and stylish Natalie, who feels out of place in the glitzy city. Matters intensify when she discovers her new assignment involves editing a romance novel by the formidable Beverly Wilcox, a bestselling author who embodies the high-pressure world reminiscent of "The Devil Wears Prada."
