Plot

Rumiko, an intelligent and charming newcomer from Tokyo, captures the hearts of her rural elementary school's male students, including Akira. Her warm reception starkly contrasts with the harsh treatment faced by Hideko, a girl labeled the "Wolf Girl" due to her appearance and the recent arrival of a traveling carnival. While the community shuns Hideko and the carnival, Akira feels an irresistible urge to uncover the truth behind her nickname. As he delves deeper, he seeks to understand the real Hideko beyond the label, challenging the prejudices of those around him.
