Plot
Alim, a gay man in London, seeks refuge from his overbearing conservative Muslim mother, Nuru, who lives in Canada. To maintain his secret lifestyle, he conceals his sexuality from her. However, when Nuru unexpectedly visits, Alim and his boyfriend, Giles, scramble to present themselves as a heterosexual couple. As they navigate the pressures of deception, comedic and heartfelt moments unfold, highlighting the clash between cultural expectations and personal identity. The situation becomes increasingly complicated as Alim juggles his love life and familial obligations, all while trying to keep the truth at bay.
