Plot
Emmi Kurowski, a solitary elderly woman, finds herself grappling with loneliness after her husband's passing and her estranged children’s lack of support. One evening, she visits a local bar popular among Arab immigrants, where she forms a bond with Ali, a middle-aged mechanic. Their connection evolves into a deeper romance, but their unexpected marriage draws disapproval from Emmi’s family and community.
