Sit Tight (1931)

Plot

Winnie Lightner runs a health clinic, employing wrestler Joe E. Brown, known as JoJo. JoJo is reluctantly drawn into the ring to battle a formidable masked opponent, Frank S. Hagney, who believes JoJo is involved with his wife. After a quick knockout, JoJo dreams of being a sultan amidst harem girls. Meanwhile, a romantic tension brews between Paul Gregory and Claudia Dell. Claudia urges her father to promote Gregory, but he refuses to take shortcuts. When Gregory quits in pursuit of wrestling glory with Lightner and Brown's help, Claudia tries to intervene, desperate to prevent him from fighting.
