Plot

Heartbroken and seeking solace, Ichiko retreats to her quaint hometown of Komori. There, she faces the challenges of summer’s sweltering weather while immersing herself in nurturing her garden and baking bread. As autumn arrives, she engages in the traditional rituals of pickling and harvesting, including rice and sweet potatoes. These seasonal experiences stir memories of her life five years prior, prompting her to reflect on her past choices and the roots she left behind. Through this journey, Ichiko reconnects with herself and the simple joys of rural life.
