Plot
Journalist John Royer returns to the U.S. just as World War II escalates, confident in his ability to smuggle rubber from Malaya, a crucial resource. Tasked with this dangerous mission, he orchestrates the release of his old acquaintance, Carnaghan, from Alcatraz. The duo, disguised as Irishmen, ventures to Southeast Asia, where Carnaghan reunites with his former associates. Together with several plantation owners, they devise a strategy to covertly transport rubber while evading the vigilant Japanese forces. Tension mounts as they navigate treachery and the perils of war in their high-stakes operation.
