Plot

During a botched robbery, Mikolás and his brother Adam capture a young German noblewoman. Facing the impending wrath of the German king, Mikolás seeks an alliance with his neighbor Lazar but fails to convince him. In a desperate act of retaliation, he kidnaps Lazar's daughter, Marketa, just before she is set to become a nun. The tension escalates as the clan grapples with the consequences of their actions, setting off a chain of events that intertwines loyalty, vengeance, and the struggle for survival in a harsh medieval landscape.
