Plot
Charles Hilary is infatuated with the stunning TV star Kathy Forrester, but his marriage to Louise, a troubled alcoholic with numerous affairs, complicates matters. When he seeks a divorce, Louise responds with threats, declaring, "You'll have to murder me first." Just hours later, she turns up dead, shot with Charles's gun, leading to his arrest. Determined to clear his name, Kathy dives into the investigation, fighting against the odds to uncover the truth and save him from a wrongful conviction.
