Love in Tokyo (1966)

Plot

Gayetridevi dispatches her son, Ashok, to Japan to bring back her grandson. Her elder son had defied her by marrying a Japanese woman, prompting Gayetridevi to hope Ashok will wed Sarita, though he shows little interest in her. While in Japan, Ashok encounters Asha, and they quickly fall in love. However, Asha's uncle insists she marry Pran, a man she despises. In a desperate bid for freedom, Asha elopes with Ashok, but Pran's jealousy leads to a tragic accident that leaves Ashok hospitalized, raising questions about who will care for him if he loses his sight.
