Plot

Ten-year-old Pablito, the son of a harsh horse trainer, witnesses his father’s brutal methods that leave a prized horse terrified of jumping. When the horse is condemned to death by a Mexican General, Pablito takes matters into his own hands and flees with the animal. Now a fugitive, he journeys across Mexico, meeting various outlaws along the way. A compassionate priest offers guidance and support, helping Pablito navigate the challenges of their escape while forging an unbreakable bond with the horse he is determined to save.
