Plot

A diminutive, barefoot slave portrayed by Polanski provides entertainment for his hefty master, who lounges in a rocking chair outside his grand mansion. The slave combines music and dance, playing the flute and drumming energetically while performing acrobatic leaps. His duties extend beyond entertainment; he tenderly wipes his master’s forehead, serves food, bathes his feet, shields him from the sun with an umbrella, and even holds a urinal.
