Plot
Set in 1955, Northfork, Montana faces imminent destruction as a hydroelectric dam threatens to flood the valley. Tasked with evacuation, a six-man committee works to relocate the remaining residents. While most have left, a few stubborn souls linger. Among them is a devoted priest caring for a sick orphan and a feverish boy convinced he belongs to a band of lost angels yearning for home. As the flood approaches, the committee grapples with their mission and the emotional connections that bind them to the town and its last holdouts.
