Rick Overton
Rick Overton, an accomplished comedian and actor, grew up in a creative household in New Jersey and New York. His father, Hal Overton, was a prominent music arranger for Thelonious Monk's big band and a respected educator at the Juilliard School. His mother, Nancy Overton, also known as Anne Swain Overton, was a vocalist with The Chordettes, a celebrated girl group known for hits like "Lollipop" and "Mr. Sandman."

He launched his stand-up career during high school, forming a comedic duo called "Overton & Sullivan." This venture laid the groundwork for his solo career, which took off in the early 1970s at the renowned New York Improvisation club.

His unique blend of humor and musical influence has earned him a dedicated following, solidifying his status as a versatile talent in both comedy and acting.
