Plot

In "The Informant!", Mark Whitacre, an ambitious employee at the agri-business powerhouse Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), unexpectedly decides to become a whistleblower. As he reveals the company's extensive global price-fixing scheme to the FBI, he imagines being celebrated as a champion for the public and receiving a significant career advancement. However, the reality of his decision unfolds in unexpected ways, challenging his perception of heroism and the consequences of his actions.
