Plot

After a tragic house fire claims her mother's life, troubled teenager Debbie Strand moves in with her grandmother, spiraling further into chaos. Obsessed with her charismatic creative writing teacher, Peter Rinaldi, she relentlessly pursues him, but her advances repeatedly fall flat. As a series of mysterious deaths among Peter's friends unfolds, paranoia sets in. He becomes increasingly concerned that Debbie's fixation may endanger his fiancée, Marilyn, making him question how far Debbie will go to claim what she desires. Tension mounts as danger looms closer.
