Plot

During a business trip to New York City, Frenchman Daniel Moulin sets out to find his estranged father. His early efforts in the gritty Bronx yield little success, resulting in a harrowing mugging and a close encounter with gun violence. Just when hope seems lost, Daniel meets William, a savvy local teen who empathizes with his plight. William brings him to meet his insightful grandfather, Cecil, who may hold the key to the answers Daniel seeks. Together, they navigate the challenges of the city in pursuit of family connections and personal revelations.
