Plot

In "Turn It Up," Diamond, an aspiring rap artist from the tough streets of Brooklyn, strives to escape his circumstances with the help of his loyal friend and manager, Gage. They work to create a demo on limited studio time while juggling a side hustle of drug running for the shady Mr. B. Tragedy strikes when Diamond's mother unexpectedly passes away, and his estranged father reenters his life after 12 years, seeking a connection. Meanwhile, his girlfriend Kia reveals her pregnancy, prompting Diamond to confront fatherhood. In a desperate attempt to fund Diamond's music career, Gage steals $100,000 from Mr. B, igniting a dangerous chain of events.
