Plot

Haunted by his experiences in World War I, Jean Diaz turns his back on love and joy, dedicating himself to scientific endeavors aimed at preventing future conflicts. Believing he has created a revolutionary machine, he watches in dismay as the government misappropriates his invention, paving the way for another catastrophic war.
