Plot
Two aspiring aviators, one hailing from wealth and the other from a modest background, both fall for the same woman. As they enlist in the US Air Corps during World War I, their friendship is tested by competition and their shared affection for her. Both rise to become celebrated flying aces, but the strain of their rivalry looms large. Meanwhile, a devoted neighbor girl, who has harbored feelings for one of them since childhood, quietly longs for a love that seems perpetually out of reach.
