Plot
Dean Costello, a small-time gangster, grapples with the harsh realities of inner-city life, including violence and drugs, while nurturing dreams for himself and his autistic son, Shane. Following a painful split from his wife, Ludy, he learns from doctors that Shane's future looks bleak. Desperate for hope, Dean seeks help from affluent child psychologist Stephanie "Stevie" Bloom. She urges him to abandon his criminal lifestyle for the sake of his son. However, Dean's violent past looms large, threatening the dreams he holds dear. In a climactic showdown, he must confront his demons alone.
