Plot

In a humble neighborhood of Dublin, 'Bimbo' Reeves faces unemployment and, with his severance pay, invests in a van to start a fish and chips venture alongside his friend, Larry. The excitement surrounding Ireland's unexpected performance in the 1990 FIFA World Cup boosts their sales initially. However, as time passes, tensions rise between the two pals, with Bimbo adopting a domineering attitude reminiscent of a traditional employer, leading to conflicts that threaten their friendship and business partnership.
