Christine Choy, a passionate and outspoken New Yorker, has made a significant impact as a documentarian, cinematographer, and professor. In 1989, she began capturing the stories of Tiananmen Square pro-democracy leaders who fled after the tragic June 4 massacre. Although she never completed the original project, Choy embarks on a journey to Taiwan, Maryland, and Paris, revisiting her footage to connect with the exiled dissidents. Her mission is to share their untold stories, fostering a sense of belonging and hope for those who remain separated from their homeland.
