Plot
Sven, a simple-minded man, faces a harsh reality after his mother's death, landing a grueling job as an unpaid farmhand at the opulent Höglund estate, where he endures harsh treatment and sleeps alongside the cows. His life takes a turn when he meets Anna, a disabled woman who recognizes his humanity and treats him with kindness. Fed up with Höglund’s cruelty, Sven decides to leave and find solace with Anna’s family, seeking a sense of belonging and dignity in a world that has long disregarded him.
