Plot

Glory Eden, a popular radio singer, is marketed as the epitome of American womanhood to promote Ippsie-Wippsie Washcloths. However, her true desires lean toward exploring nightlife, jazz music, and romance. As the pressure of maintaining her "pure" image mounts, she rebels against the constraints. In a desperate attempt to salvage her reputation, the sponsor enlists a public-relations "sweetheart" chosen from fan mail, only to discover he’s a country bumpkin, complicating Glory’s efforts to break free and embrace her true self.
