Plot
In "The Big Country," retired affluent sea captain Jim McKay makes his way to the rugged landscapes of the Old West. Upon his arrival, he finds himself caught in a bitter conflict between his future father-in-law, Major Terrill, and the unruly Hannasseys, who are vying for control of a coveted piece of land. As tensions escalate, Jim must navigate this volatile feud while determining his own values and loyalties in a harsh and unforgiving environment.
