Plot

Jennifer, a European girl with a limited grasp of Japanese, arrives at a funeral in a rural temple. There, she encounters a quiet boy grappling with his troubled past as he serves a punishment. Drawn to his solitude, Jennifer is determined to bridge the gap between him and the community. Simultaneously, she befriends the daughter of the temple’s head priest, assisting her in mending her strained family relationships. Through their connections, Jennifer fosters understanding and healing in this serene yet emotionally charged setting.
