Amá unveils a harrowing chapter in American history, focusing on the systemic abuses faced by Native American women during the 1960s and 70s. Filmmaker Lorna Tucker spent nine years meticulously gathering insights and testimonies from survivors, including three courageous women: Jean Whitehorse, Yvonne Swan, and Charon Aseytoyer.
