Plot

This contemporary adaptation of Edmond Rostand's "Cyrano de Bergerac" revolves around C. D. Bales, the clever and courageous fire chief of a quaint Pacific Northwest community. Despite his sharp wit, C.D. hesitates to pursue his dream girl, the beautiful Roxanne Kowalski, due to his prominent nose. When his bashful subordinate, Chris McConnell, falls for Roxanne, C.D. decides to help by providing Chris with romantic lines to charm her.
