Plot
On a frigid winter day, Jacob and his sister Marie are left behind in the woods by their unemployed father. Discovering a letter from their mother instructing them to seek her brother in Spain, they embark on the journey only to find him deceased. In Spain, Marie falls for Diego, a charismatic and affluent surgeon, despite his overbearing sister, Teresa. Jacob is shocked when Marie decides to marry Diego. His jealousy drives him to interfere, leading to escalating tensions. As Jacob's provocations increase, the consequences become dire, revealing that everyone will face repercussions for their actions.
