Plot

Kabwita, a young father residing in Kolwezi, DRC, harbors aspirations of purchasing land to construct a home for his family. To realize this dream, he turns to charcoal production, crafting it from the remnants of a majestic hardwood tree. His quest leads him on a perilous trek, as he loads sacks of charcoal onto his bicycle and navigates through challenges to sell them at the market. Each trip not only highlights his determination but also the struggles faced by many in pursuit of a better life.
