Plot
Eddie Ellison, a reformed ex-convict recently released from Sing-Sing, marries Kay, eager to start anew. Five years later, they enjoy a happy life together with their daughter, Shirley, while Eddie and his former cellmate, Larry, strive to stay on the right path. However, their past looms large when pearls go missing from Eddie's employer's home, triggering suspicions from the relentless Welch, who believes that a criminal's nature never changes. As tensions rise, Eddie and Larry must prove their innocence and confront the shadows of their former lives before it's too late.
